Ive just checked the weather report on WindGuru as if Im going out for a paddle! As if... Its been a week since my op. The procedure was a success and Im on the mend. Arthur and I could not do this without the love, generosity and support from you our friends and family. Thank you for all the calls, messages, flowers, offers to help, prayers and positivity. The feelings of loss have been replaced by hope, excitement even. The doctors and nursing staff here at Netcare Blaauwberg have been incredible, offering professional, round-the-clock care. Im not sure when Ill be discharged though. Oh look, here is another tray laden with delicious food, this morning its scrambled egg, grilled tomatoes, chakalaka baked beans and toast yum! Duty calls xxx
