Ive just heard Bo Burnham saying, I never talk about what I think on stage directly, because I just dont really value what I think at this point at all... Really, I dont think anyone wants to hear a 20 year old tell them what he thinks about how the world works. I just kinda make jokes. This comes from a guy who is probably much smarter than me (which my mom would argue is impossible), on top of being a talented musician/comedian. Kidding aside, I couldnt agree more. Though it took me 23 years to figure out the same thing, that I shouldnt talk about any of my thoughts seriously in public, unless Im expected to :) Overall, just shut up and listen is often a better way to impress someone anyway :D
