Ive just learned to stay in whatever line Im in no matter what. Inevitably the person in front of me will be attempting to purchase an item that isnt in the system and deciding to pay with a combination of a personal check, food stamps, gift card, and the balance in a foreign currency which requires the manager to get on a conference call with the company attorney and investment advisor in order to determine the appropriate exchange rate. But even so, changing lanes never speeds things up.
