Ive just parked my travel trailer in Sebring, Florida! The trip - TopicsExpress

Ive just parked my travel trailer in Sebring, Florida! The trip from Michigan to Sebring brought great joy to me as I got to see 2 of my sons, their wives ( my Daughter-in-laws), and their children (my grandchildren) in Georgia!!! I left Georgia last night (Sunday) at about 6:45 PM. At approximately, 10:45PM traffic on I-75 South came to a stop at mile marker 20 where an SUV was on its roof in the middle lane. I was sitting in the right lane at mile marker 21 at approximately, 10:55 PM due to the road block by Georgia Aythorities. When suddenly I heard all kinds of crashing, banging, and particles of Debre hitting vehicles all around me. I looked in my rear view mirror and all I could see was a huge cloud of dust & smoke. I braised myself waiting for the impact. Then suddenly, the noise stopped. I waited a couple of minutes to be sure it was over then got out of the truck to see what had happened. It turns out that a Truck Driver was texting and never hit his brakes before running into a small car and drove that car through a travel trailer ripping the travel trailer completely off its chassis, running over the SUV that was towing the travel trailer, slamming into the right rear corner of a stopped tractor trailer, pushing it into another stopped tractor trailer in the left lane and a stopped SUV, pushing that SUV into a U-Haul Truck which came to a stop 3 feet behind me. The shell of the travel trailer was on top of the tractor trailer that plowed into everyone. There were 3 fatalities and a 4th person who was near dead & airlifted. The driver of the truck responsible for all this, got out of his truck, walked approximately, 25 feet away from the accident and swatted down talking on his phone!!! The windshield wiper motor from his truck landed right next to my travel trailer tires on the drivers side. God watches over me & Blesses me, often! And tonight, I sit here in Sebring, Florida Unscathed!!! I ask that everyone, Please keep the families & loved ones of the deceased and the lady who was airlifted in your prayers! Be safe & have fun, whatever you do! God Bless Us, All!!!
