Ive just replied to a query regarding Signature Pages for 21st Century Tank Girl and thought it might be an idea to share it with you, as it throws some light on the concept of the book - There will be no signature page with this book, as the Bookplate is all part of an in-joke. It will be designed as a library check-in/out sheet - the kind they used to use before scanning barcodes. This will be signed by me/the artists as if we have taken the book out of a library on a specific date. This was a stunt previously pulled by Monty Python in their PaperBok and by Gorillaz in Rise Of The Ogre (although both of those were just printed). So its much more conceptual than just adding a sticker, or an extra page with a picture on it. Adding anything else would spoil the concept, as we see the whole book as a piece of art, rather than a book containing pictures of art. As for the limited edition status, this book will be available down the line as a trade paperback, but the KS edition will only be available for this limited period. The KS edition will have no barcode, no ISBN, and even no price on the cover. It will be a completely rogue book, we want it to be the stuff of legend. There will be no review copies sent out. It will never be for sale again in this form.
