Ive just spoken to Tania Murray at the hospital (filling in for Bernadette Hammond who is responsible for maternity services). There will be a meeting organized by the hospital to be held next week explaining the new midwifery services they plan to offer. Tania said they will be very happy to explain and answer questions from consumers. The date is still to be set and will be announced on the BRHS website. Ill post it when I find out. They were planning to make a public announcement this week so not quite prepared for the public outcry they are getting. Lets make sure as many of us are at the meeting as possible and plan from there.
