Ive just watched a video which explains What ALS is and how it affects those that are so unlucky to be struck down with it. The ALS ice bucket challenge was started to help sufferers of this disease and it has gathered huge interest and momentum in the US. However as everyone will see on FB it is now gathering considerable momentum worldwide, which is great, or is it. Not really because what was originally a fund raising tool for ALS is now being used to help other charities and ALS is missing out. Go check out ALS and what it does to those that are so unlucky to be struck down with it and remember why the Ice Bucket Challenge was brought about. Make sure your charitable donations go to the charity that this was meant for in the first place, not other charities that while might be deserving, have other means of support. Remember, The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is just that it is for ALS sufferers.
