Ive made my decision concerning the Lymphoma. I will be taking my talents to South Beach Oh wait. That was LeBrons decision 4 years ago.... After consulting with my oncologist, cardiologist, friends and family I have weighed my options. If I do nothing Ill have a year of a life with quality before I start to go down hill. If I do that I have no chance. If I start chemo, I could go at anytime due to the invasiveness of the chemo to my heart. But at least Id have a chance of beating it. Ive prayed in it and took my familys thoughts into consideration. The easy way out is to do nothing. Have fun for a year and wilt away. Ive never taken the easy way of anything in my life. Ive never been a quitter and I dont plan on starting now. I will fight. So on August 20th and 21st I will get the first two chemo treatments. The battle will begin.. I will be bald and hairless again and weak and sick during that time but I will to the best of my ability try to stay active. Still work and still play. Maybe just not as hard. I will not allow it to control me....besides. Yesterday Marrio Norman of The Gladiators promised me if I fight they will win the Championship. And Im holding him to that promise. Lol. I am making this decision with a clear mind with no regrets but with a lot of hope. And however it turns out, Im prepared. Im smiling and Im happy and need the same from all of you because you are very important to me plus keep praying and keep the faith. Alicia Scicolone. Christina Tamburello Beres
