Ive never been much of a great housekeeper but better than I use to be. Kids tend to make you see things differently. But its funny cause I was running the through the house picking up toys, huffing and puffing at all the stuff that never seems to get picked up like the dress that for some reason found its way to the kitchen counter. The formal living room that is supposed to be a no kid zone, has a row if barbies on the TV stand and the pretty lined basket has been filled with stuffed animals. I stopped for moment and thought this is a piece my kids. Everyone says you will miss it. And I know I will miss the days when I no longer step on toy cars as I stumble to the bathroom or have to de-Barbie the tub before I can shower. And the tiny Legos that line the dinning room table that me and Colt built. Sometimes yea these things bother me and sometimes it even makes me cry because someday i am going to miss this. One thing I know I will miss is that while I lay here in bed there is a leg thrown over me that feels like it weights a TON but I wouldnt dare move it. So if you come to visit be prepared for the finger prints on the front door and you just might be forced to take part in a play or singing and dancing. Lol I cant wait to see what happens tomorrow. You may even have to remind me it is only for a short while.
