Ive not said much about the Independence Referendum for a while, - TopicsExpress

Ive not said much about the Independence Referendum for a while, partly because Im not entitled to a vote and partly because I dont know which way I would vote if I had the right. In some ways Im glad I dont have to vote, so if it all goes wrong (either way) it was nothing to do with me. I have watched debates, news programmes & YouTube videos; I have read articles, arguments and social media posts; I have discussed it at great lengths with family and friends. And I still dont know how I would vote. I am Scottish and proud, I am British and proud. I would never have said I was British until I moved to England three years ago: Ill admit I was probably caught up in the xenophobia some Scots have towards the English. All I ask of people registered to vote in Scotland is that you use your vote wisely. If you have made your decision based on any hatred, dislike or past bad blood then you may have made the wrong decision. If you have made your choice based on fear of change, or the lack of information then you may have made the wrong decision. On Thursday, please vote and please make your own mind up. Dont believe all of what youve been told by politicians or the media, or your family, or a random person on Facebook; that is their view and could very well be bulls*#t.
