Ive noticed recently a growing trend in animal/dog lovers... those who seem to REVEL in posting pictures of animal abuse and constantly posting updates on animals being mistreated/tortured! We all know what goes on... and by now, with all the constant posts on FB, Twitter and TV shows such as The Dog Rescuers, Animal Cops, etc we have all seen it, very graphically. Why cant we show our love and support by posting pictures/TV shows of healthy and happy animals which have been rescued, instead of giving the bastards who commit these atrocious acts publicity and ideas on what they can do next to animals? Instead of revelling in the abuse TRY A MONTHLY DONATION TO AN ANIMAL CHARITY OR FOSTER/ADOPT! Theres a definite correlation in the rise in animal abuse to rise in animal lovers... the more we spend on little pink coats for FiFi, the more dog theft and abuse there seems to be. Have we helped in creating the animal abuse/theft crime wave? Probably... weve created a market! There is no quick fix to the rise in the animal crimes we have seen in the past few years, but posts of Look how badly abused Twinkle is! help no animal! This is my opinion... Im not asking for affirmation or damnation, I just want to express an opinion on a subject I feel very strongly on.
