Ive posted this video before. Its cute. It makes me go aaaaw! But more than that, I think about this video all the time because I feel like it taught me a life lesson. I believe I first saw this video around the time that I was opening the gallery. That was a crazy hard thing for me to do! So hard, in fact, that I dont think I appreciate all the work I put into it and continue to put into it. Ive only made one New Years resolution that Ive ever kept; to never make another New Years resolution again. However, at the first of each new year, I cant help but think about everything Id like to accomplish in the short 12 months before me, as well as reflect on the short 12 months that just passed. I was this mouse SO many times in 2014. In 2015, I hope to be this mouse SO many more times. Theres something so incredibly satisfying in struggling, failing, regrouping, jumping back on that ledge after falling, restrategizing (its a word, Google Chrome! Suck it!), starting all over again, and finally succeeding. Even if success doesnt come, something was learned or gained, and Im stronger and more ready for the next challenge. Im looking forward to the opportunities Ill have this year to be this mouse again.
