Ive probably said it before in reference to pop music,which is basically what modern country is,but the formula which popular songs like these use,is actually total genius.A lot of folks hate this sort of cookie cutter music and write it off as lazy song writing or plagiarism,but its actually well thought out manipulation of the human minds stock preferences.We come with the tendency to enjoy certain aesthetics built in.Its the same reason that most people like ice cream or think that red is pretty.Those of us who gravitate toward dark colors or avant-garde music are conditioned to enjoy those things,left to our own devices,we would probably all be wearing brightly colored tie dye and listening to S-Club records.....or maybe Im totally full of shit.
