Ive recently been working a lot, traveling, and DOING so much, Ive been less connected to both my personal self-care (healthy eating, exercising, sleeping, etc) and also to my inner/spiritual life (journaling, prayer, meditation, reading/listening to things that inspire, challenge, and open me). Im familiar with this pattern as Ive played this out many times in my life and although I feel like Im doing a much better job at not being hard on myself about it, I still find it frustrating, challenging, and elusive. I can be such a creature of habit, so when things are flowing in this way (i.e. Im taking good care of myself, focusing on what truly matters most to me, and feeling connected to my inner and spiritual life), it seems fun and easy...yet, when I get out of sync in this regard, it can sometimes feel overwhelming and like a lot of effort to get back on track and find that flow again. Can you relate to this? When this happens to you, what do you do to get yourself back on track and re-engaged in a healthy way? Any suggestions?
