Ive seen just about every movie that Mickey Rourke has acted in. Some movies good...some..Not so good. And since his plastic surgery. ...he hasnt looked his best, to say the least! Tonight , after a couple of years of excuses not to watch it, I watched The Wrestler. Having grown up in Tampa, through the 60s and 70s, and growing up a huge wrestling fan (NWA , Gordon Sole, DustyRhodes...) and having lived in Atlanta , the heart of WCW ....Ive also met and become friends with a lot of todays WWE superstars, most alive...some have past on. This movie, The Wrestler, really drew me in..and it was hard to look away. Mickey Rourke has me as a fan for life. What a great story. The lifestyle portrayed by Mick is so dead on. The What then questions everyone changing a lifelong career faces...but theres more.I really felt a comradship towards Randy the RAM as a man, not as a wrestler! Any hoo....if you havent seen it, and youre like ,;yeah well...what else is there to watch???.. Do yourself a BIG favor...watch it and ...enjoy some great acting. Thank you Mick..
