Ive seen some negative comments out there about the ALS Ice Bucket challenge and you know what I say? BRING ON THE WAGON JUMPERS!! In all the years my sister has struggled with this disease - 25 now -and in all the years my family and friends have raised funds and awareness...Ive NEVER seen so much discussion about what ALS is, how is affects people, and who KNOWS what it is and THEN when even a fraction of those people donate to this cause? Its a win! So feel free to have an opinion about it...for those who cannot donate and raise awareness by talking about it or dumping a bucket over your head or your roommates head or your husbands head or make an awesome video and post it, YOU ROCK ...but man its cool that its cool to know what ALS is...because so many people dont stop to think about all the horrific diseases out there. This is just one of them and its good news that people care, even for a few moments...and couldnt we all use a bit of positive news where people come together on something rather than tear each other apart? Peace...
