Ive seen the perspective of admins in this group and they are steering the ship, no question. Here is some perspective from a prospective member and Id imagine there are a few in here who would agree. Intelligence is a measure of your capability for learning. Expertise is a measure of what you have learned. Wisdom is your understanding and willingness to admit the things you have yet to learn. I would like to see an organization where people stay in their lanes on what they know. When somebody poses a question or a discussion topic I would like to see the contributions limited to what is truly in the wheelhouse of the contributor. If you know it, have professionally learned it or lived it, I want to know your take. I am sick of reading opinions that are vomited up from a quick google search. Those who think it is not obvious when they do this are not fooling anyone. You are degrading the capabilities of this group when you do it. Ive spent a considerable amount of time surrounding myself with people who will jump in and help me when they are a SME and back off when they are not or connect me with someone who is. I would love to see that here. I wold love to see everyone leverage each others capabilities the way we did in our old units. This is MY opinion. I do not speak for SOCON, I would just like the powers to be to know it is something I would like to see here.
