Join WRCNU at the “KRCL Community Drive 2013”. Thanks to the “Willard Bay Six” and the great people at KRCL, WRCNU has been invited back to 90.9 FM KRCL’s 2013 Community Drive. KRCL uses their annual Community Drive as an opportunity to promote and partner with other non-profits doing important work in the community (Monday the 10th is Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Northern Utah day!), so please tune in and pledge your support for an amazing nonprofit radio station and with each donation of $60 or more WRCNU will receive a monetary gift to buy “5 pounds of yams for the six beavers” in our care. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! – to answer the phones at KRCL on Monday so anyone wanting to help support WRCNU and KRCL you are encouraged to sign up for a time slot between 6am and 6pm, just go to the KRCL webpage ( krcl.org ) and find “To Volunteer During The Drive” and click on the link provided or call the station at (801) 363-1818 for more information on how you can help. 90.9 KRCL SUMMER FLING! – On Friday the 14th we end the Community Drive with the “90.9 KRCL Summer Fling!” From 6-8pm at the studio on 1971 West North Temple, SLC. Come by for: - Live entertainment - Meet the five nonprofits spotlighted during the week - Meet live animal ambassadors from WRCNU - Food, Drink and Fun! If you’ve read this far then don’t stop now, we have MORE to tell: KRCL is (seriously) the BEST radio station Buz has EVER listened to: Buz says, “it’ll take you places you’ve always wanted to go, but just never had the vehicle to get you there!” He continues to say, “It’s always fresh and unique and the DJs are uniquely ‘touchable and personable’. If you only like one type of music/genre then 90.9 MAY not be as exciting for you as it is for me, but if you consider yourself someone with tastes that literally span the globe and interests in new never-heard-before music, musicians and more, then KRCL could be your station too.” Give it a try no matter where you are in the country or world. CONNECT with KRCL globally by following their web link krcl.org to their home page and clicking on the “krcl player” in the upper right corner of the page, then let 90.9 FM take you places you’ve never gone before—Buz’ll be there to meet you :) On Monday the 10th, you will hear audio interviews from April featuring DaLyn and Buz of WRCNU and Troy Williams of KRCL discussing the initial three beaver to come into our care as well as Buz’s vision of what he hopes his life’s conservation efforts will do for the next generations. Come join us in person, on the studio phone or on the air, Monday June 10th from 6am-6pm MDT and make Monday a KRCL/WRCNU DAY! Great Listening and BEAVER SMOOCHES to you all! :)
