Ive seen this several times today on my newsfeed. I just havent been able to keep calm enough to compose a complete thought out comment with it, and if anything deserves a header, it would be this. Going back to a previous post, it is NOT the childs fault, and therefore they should not be punished. 40 children. 40 kids had their lunch tray snatched away from them and thrown in the trash. Maybe not for all of them, but at least for some, it is likely that that would have been their only meal for the entire day. Do we not pay taxes so that children, that we force to go to school, can eat lunch even if their parents cant afford it? This is a small scale model of the issue with the GOP and other like minded republicans, wanting to wipeout food assistance. If the parents cant pay, then let children go hungry. Think about that. And think about this: Convicts in state prisons got a meal, these 40 children got theirs thrown away.
