Ive studied the Nkandla report which one of the recommendation is President paying back a proportion of money spend on upgrading his private house, then I look into the realistic nature of determining this proportion Amount with certainty.Theyre many dynamics involved that complicate this matter, those dynamics being but not limited to, service providers who escalated prices, debatable security features, whos decision to upgraded unrelated security features using State money?, President or an official who wanted to impress president? If is the latter, then is president accountable?. The report also recommend that a valuation committee needed to be established to determine the amount that President needed to pay back which is not yet determine. I then I ask myself, how can He agree to pay back amount that is not yet being determine? My point here is that this Nkandla issue is been blown out-of-proportion without considering the facts in the report and complicated nature of this process.
