Ive tidied the cage a bit, gathering large games, heavy games, - TopicsExpress

Ive tidied the cage a bit, gathering large games, heavy games, card games, and games with their expansions together (in retrospect I ought to have put only the light large games at the front of the shelves to keep the ones at the back easily accessible!) Ive also noted the absence of a few games, some large ones in particular, so it will need rearranging again a little to fit those. If people have some games out at the moment would they like to note here which ones? Ill be trying to spend some more time in the cage over the next few days to develop a full spreadsheet of the games we have, box dimensions (for efficient reorganising), number of players, game duration, presence of English rules or English translations etc. (Some things, like completeness of contents/ itemisation of missing components, I will probably leave for members to take note of for the games they take out and play as it is far too large a task otherwise!) Ive done a little of that work today, also noting the location of the boxes on the shelves to make them easier to find and put back but I stopped soon after noticing the absent games as no doubt that will all change and also because others may have different ideas on which games should be kept towards the front. Ive also considered noting game types; competitive/cooperative, simple/difficult, fast/slow setup etc. and also maybe game themes? So we can have some themed game evenings and opportunities to dig out some of the older, forgotten games. If anyone has ideas on what else should be documented, suggest that here too :)
