Ive told people for years that when they dont fight their insurance companies on denials....especially past timely...patient not responsible provider must eat the bill they are helping these large insurance companies operrate in the black and let thier ceos make 6 amd 7 figures a year...while all the time they stand behind their insurance dr must write off the bill...pt not fiscally responsible and refuse to pay their bill...it only makes it worse...because doctors raise their fees to off set non payment...and demand renegotiation for higher reimbursement from the insurance companies. ..which...again they operate in the black...yet pass the cost down to their insured/the patient by either raising premiums or raising deductibles co pays and co insurances...nice of insurances to give dont pay advice out and people pay their premiums and never challenge their insurance companies. oh and i known folks who know if they hold their insurance as dont have any or dont have my card with me i dont know the info until they know its past timely filing so they can get the service for free and not have to pay their high deductibles and co insurances. These people think they figured out how to get free services at no expense. ..but the increase in premiums EVERY year...yeah this is one of many factors pushing rates up. ..so who wins for non payment. ..yup...these ceos....hope everytime a patient failed thier obligation to micro manage their insurance carrier and fell like celebrating breaking it off to providers....that their insurance.ceo is twerking like miley or however its spelled.
