Ive watched Lucy per recommendations. One talk has been going around is that the church is not in favor of this movie. Some said the name Lucy is short for Lucifer (which is true) so its about the devil. Some said it is about evolution, so its against GOD. First, Lucifer is name, Lucy is a name. Some people is named as Jesus, does that make that person more good? Vatican named their advanced technology telescope as Lucifer, what does that mean? Lets put the naming game aside, before you can justify the telescope. Evolution is a science theory, one can have many ways to interpret it. Lucy is a movie that people base on Evolution to make. One can have ones belief but cant completely deny others right to watch a movie. Movie is somewhat like a dream, when one cant tell what is real, and what is a dream. One can think over a dream, but cant take dream as reality. The movie itself is interesting. I especially like the way it cross cut from the story line to some animal documentaries. It also interesting to see the comparison of the gangsters will and the big picture of world. It reminds me of fullmetal alchemists one is all all is one. How big or how tiny we are. Another remark, the beginning of the movie was shot in Taiwan, so there are some people dont know that, the gangsters are not Taiwanese. They are actually Korean. The crazy god father is the guy in Old boy. one more remark, if this more was made 5 years ago, it wouldnt be Scarlett Johansson playing Lucy, but Angelina Jolie instead. https://youtube/watch?v=MVt32qoyhi0
