I’M POSITIVE HE LOVES YOU Scripture is full of parables…some so simple to understand and others that take a little more thought and study. Many have to do with how much the Father loves us…each and every one of us. A friend recently shared a story about just how much. He was standing before a crowd and lifted up a One Thousand Dollar bill. He asked the crowd who would like to have the bill today, they all raised their hands. He then crushed the bill in his hand into a small ball no bigger than a pea and asked the crowd again who would like the bill still…and everyone raised their hand. Then, he threw the crushed bill to the ground and stomped it into the dirt over and over again. He then picked it up and opened it filthy, torn with some holes almost not recognizable yet still fully intact and asked the crowd again “now who wants the bill?” and still…everyone raised their hand. Why would you want a broken down trampled piece of paper like that? Because what ever the condition that bill had been beaten into, the value of it had not change at all…the crowd new this unless…it was completely destroyed. Regardless of what you have done to yourself, or to others or even to God…He see’s you of great value…after all, He created you. Even at your worst…Christ died for you. Romans 5:8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. Then my friend said he did this. He held up the bill…took out a lighter and burned the bill…allowing it to perish. The crowd gasped...someone shouted “you ruined a perfect One Thousand Dollar bill...all you had to do was wash it and have it cleansed…now it is to late.” Yes it is…this bill will never be used for anything good…it is lost forever! Likewise you and I…regardless of how much we have failed or what ever evil we have done in the sight of the Lord, He loves us…He loves…YOU! All you have to do is believe and put your faith and trust fully in Him. Deny your will…and obey His. Repent and turn from your wicked ways and be save forever…not into utter darkness but into the eternal light with our Lord. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you,[a] not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. Joshua 24:15 15…choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. BUT AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD (cap emphasis mine). Whom will you serve today? Solomon LordBuilt Ministries lordbuiltministries https://youtube/watch?v=6fDgG4wXLCA
