I’m delighted to announce I will be running for East Midlands CF - TopicsExpress

I’m delighted to announce I will be running for East Midlands CF Regional Chairman. Lets be clear, this election is about making sure that in every region we have a team capable of leading us into a war. The 2015 General Election will be the most brutal and hardest fought Electoral battle in history. I’m standing because I want CF to help win this war - because next May I want to see a Conservative Majority in this Country. The East Midlands is the front line in this battle, if we don’t work here, Ed Miliband strolls into Downing Street next May. It’s as simple as that. When the Newark by-election was called, I knew we needed to win. I recognised that doing this meant people like me to man up and put the hard yards in. Despite having exams I spent the best part of 4 weeks working the seat day in, day out. More than this though, I knew by myself I wasn’t enough and I organised guys up from the Uni of Nottingham to help make it happen. It’s also why this February I booked a 30 seat coach, filled it with Tory students from Nottingham and spent the day campaigning in Lancashire. I’m the last man to have been to every #RoadTrip2015 campaign day and if I’m elected I’ll organise transport to every action day they call. Over the last two years we’ve gone backwards in building branches in the East Midlands. As VP of Nottinghamshire CF I’ve been proud to be part of a team reversing this trend starting a branch in Nottingham and relaunching Newark. Branches are the backbone of CF and if I’m elected I’ll guarantee they will rocket in both number and size. I’m incredibly excited about the opportunity we have ahead of us and I hope I can count on your support. Sam Armstrong P.S. I’m launching my manifesto tomorrow - keep your eyes peeled!
