I’m greatly presuming here because I did not get the expanded PBS packages but I think ego elimination as facilitated by tools and distinctions is huge and needs attention. I just had to put that out there in case my presumption is correct. So fear and fearlessness… Is fear part of ego and is love as most of us know it part of the ego because of its ‘human’ and ‘spiritual’ qualities? If it is, why is it not addressed as such? MY RATIONALE: Ego is internalized emotional reaction to the outside world creating an emotional construct (rationalization) to explain and function within the outside world. Fear is emotion driving emotional reaction to perceived negative displacement from established order (equilibrium) as in negative displacement to health or place within surroundings. Events driving displacement are either externally occurring (a bus about to hit or an attack taking place) or internalized anticipation of possibility (getting a speeding ticket). Internalized anticipation is either objective as calculation (mathematical displacement of existing order) or emotional (displaced feeling(s) from emotional order or equilibrium). If internalized displacement is emotional, then it’s ego, because emotional order (equilibrium) the goal of the emotional construct of ego. So how does fear manifest as a construct supporting emotional equilibrium? Dominance or avoidance, of the outside world. Materialism and narcissism are dominant manifests. Retreat and denial are avoidant manifests. So why am I writing this? Fearlessness is tied to losing the ego, fear is part of ego, and in fact it may be the reason ego exists. I sense the ‘Clearly Now’ PBS promo video only addressed Compassion as function of ego. From my experiences ego is much larger than that. I don’t want to presume anything, but that’s what I saw in the video. Going further, is willingness and determination part of fear? So are the bottom four rungs of the ladder tied strongly to losing the ego? For me the operative answer is yes. It makes things more ‘clear’ within the tapestry God gave me, it’s more detail. So why do I share that I think the ladder’s bottom four rungs are strongly tied to losing ego? Because for me not recognizing the bottom four rungs as tied to ego in the present sense makes implementation of the ladder’s ‘blueprint’ grossly inefficient and possibly ineffective. Willingness, determination, fearlessness and compassion can all look the same externally or internally to the searcher. The important operative question is where do those attributes it come from, the ego or the soul? In other words are they false or true expressions due to motive? For me it’s important because if I’m experiencing false love from the ego I can feel it’s insincerity and it ‘conditions’ even if I’ve convinced myself it’s authentic. If it’s from the soul I can feel it’s divine and unconditional quality. A cognitive signal to me is If coming from the ego, it’s an effort, that signal indicates my love is motivated by superego posing as the soul. Why? It can be questioned in ‘varying’ or ‘changing’ in time, usually a short time depending on how open I am to its fragility. Divine love never changes or varies, therefore it is effortless and not conditioned upon my ego. My senses tell me when there is too much effort to overcome inertia my love is coming from a place of illusion, the illusion being my superego tied to my ego. I’m aware you’ve referred to the effortless quality of divine love but for me to get reside there requires the elimination of ego. To me ego is universally deceptive within the sphere of emotion and its resulting rationalized reality, leaving for me my operative question, where does my love come from? I’ve been doing the ego elimination/soul infill thing for 3 years now and it’s been greatly facilitated by your ‘Wishes’ and ‘Clearly’ videos, mainly through objective because I already possessed the tools and distinctions to actualize that goal. For me ego is big, as in really really really big if the goal is to achieve the soul. That means for me it’s a daily occurrence to eliminate ego to achieve soul and divine love, meaning, it’s cyclically occurring and cumulative reduction and growth. I am that I am. Best Wishes
