I’m honored to share that we’ve been invited to do a short presentation on our film project “The Rabbit’s Foot”, at the VA Southwest Regional Tribal Government Relations Summit to Support Veterans. The summit will be held Sept. 16-17, 2013 in Scottsdale, AZ. This will give us the opportunity to network with tribal leaders, Veterans, Veterans Service Providers, and Tribal Health Directors to solicit support and funding resources for our film. In addition to doing a presentation, we’ll be setting up a fundraising table to pass out information, DVD’s, and raffle off prizes to help raise funds. More than twenty speakers and program representatives will share information that will educate attendees on VA benefits and services. We are very excited to be given this opportunity to network, fundraise, and most importantly raise awareness for the need of a VA hospital on the Navajo-Hopi reservation.
