I’m not a public figure, and this page is just a sort of educational blog for whoever is interested. It’s practically a trend for people to give themselves unearned titles like “public figure,” “scholar,” “religious figure,” etc, and this can lead to destructive outcomes. You must meet certain criteria, accomplish and achieve distinguishable feats, and manifest appropriate behavior before you claim to be an influential character. The word “scholar” is especially misused because individuals attribute it to themselves for merely having an education. Scholars are called so by their admires, followers, and peers based on recognized intellect, wisdom, character, and accomplishments; you can’t just decide that you’re a scholar all on your own. When we throw these labels around so casually, they will lose their value, and actual worthy people will not be respected as they deserve.
