I’m thrilled to announce that I will be hosting the first in a series of hour-long special programs, Laurie Berkners Garden: Eat, Play, Grow, to be broadcast multiple times throughout the weekend of September 26 - 29 on SiriusXM Kids Place Live channel! I will join with Kids Place Live program director Mindy Thomas to help kids understand that food doesnt have to come from the store. With Apples & Pumpkins as a theme, the autumn episode of Laurie Berkners Garden: Eat, Play, Grow will be filled with a cornucopia of food and gardening songs, activities, and more. There will be humorous kid on the street Q & A moments, Mindy will interview a grower from a local farmers market, and special guest Catherine McCord of weelicious (Weelicious) will share fun tips about healthy snacks in a food preparation segment.
