I’m very put off! My parents raised me to be the complete opposite of this post but I’ve Had Enough! This my freedom of speech. My Post is absolutely the most disrespectful and condescending thing I’ve ever done whether spoken or written. This is solely my opinion about Obama, the Military and Memorial Day. If you’re concerned it may be offensive to you, others or anything else in that manner it is not my intention and I suggest that this be the last line you read. These are my words, my opinion and the truth as I see it. I’m the daughter of the Army, I’m a wife of the Army, I’m a Patriot, a Citizen of The United States of America and I’m not a liar. Respect, Trust, Truth and Honor are not a gift they’re earned. *Commander in Chief: you secretly fly into Afghanistan for Memorial Day to surprise the troops. You came, you spoke, had a photo op & whatever...Then left those behind like children on a doorstep watching your plane fly home. *How about a real surprise? Have you ever heard of: No Man (Woman) Left Behind? You Go - We Go? I think you’ll find the read very illuminating. * These people aren’t the camouflage uniform they wear. They have names and to their service put their lives in harm’s way. Their lives are in danger every moment of every day they are stationed there and know there’s a possibility that they may never come home again. * Our troops don’t need to be reminded and certainly not by you showing up that Memorial Day is honoring the brave men and women in uniform who have given their lives in service. They understand it all too well. They live with it every day, we’re afraid of it every day But you don’t “you’re just told about it”. Out troops have been there longer than the shelf life of some of my food!! * I think you need glasses, a hearing aid and a tutor. Not sure glasses will help you’d have to open your eyes. The hearing aid nope, you might have to hear “US”. The Tutor yes, so you can get a clue and can help you with the big words. ** Do you understand the words coming out of my mouse? **
