I’m watching TV and what am I watching, but the Afghanistan’s behaving like a pack of wild savages, reminiscent of the Apache Indians under the leadership of Geronimo, in the 1880’s. If one thinks that after the Taliban is gone, that these people can behave like civilized people under a government like ours over night, is sadly mistaken. It’ll never happen and may never happen. We could end up making more trouble than we had with the Taliban, if we’re not careful. Their culture and beliefs are totally different than ours. They were showing on TV last night, how an Afghanistan came into the United States as a young boy, went to school here, worked at a McDonalds, went back to Afghanistan, and became a war lord for one of the tribes. It’s ironic that after all of that time he spent here in the good old USA, he was not converted to our way of living, nor did he get spoiled with all of our modern technology. One of the things that we should be concerned about is that they believe that war, of all things, is good. The other is that we have to be careful not to get distracted with all of this, and forget about the other troublemakers and can be troublemakers in the world.
