I’ve heard people say “it’s not what you do that really - TopicsExpress

I’ve heard people say “it’s not what you do that really matters but how you do what you do.” How misleading! The problem with many people is not that they lack skills, but they have spent a lot of their time doing what should not be done at all. You must learn to understand that you are a limited resource, and as such, you can’t do everything. Vilfredo Pareto says that 20% of your activities will account for 80% of your results. It means that in a list of ten, 1 or 2 on the list will give a turnover of 5 or 10 times the value of the other items on that list. What do you think will happen to you if you focus on that single one or two? Put yourself under the microscope, analyze your tasks and always begin with the “Vital Few”, that single task that will give you 80% result. This is usually the hard ones though.
