I’ve hitchhiked my 1st ferry across the sea!!! MothaFingYeeeessssssss! I got rejected at Kuala Kedah port from both, the passenger and cargo ferries, so I gave it another try at Kuala Perlis port and it worked. The captain and the team of workers there were truly amazing! After I explained what I was doing, they offered me a VIP room on a ferry. :D I didn’t even know that exists… The only reason I came to Langkawi is to do a testing round around the islands with Captain Ric before we sail off to Australia in February. I knew it was going to be hard to get to Langkawi by thumbing and I was dreading it, but after seeing the island, only a tsunami can wash me off the beach before February. It’s a tropical paradise with a bunch of my kind of people playing djembe on the beach. Some man stopped me on the street this morning to tell me that I look like a very happy person. Pffff…no shit, Sherlock.
