Longmeadow 5k Warriors Run/Walk Rescheduled August 21, 2013 The Longmeadow 5k Warriors Run/Walk has been rescheduled to Saturday, November 9, 2013 in an effort to honor all veterans and service members on Veterans Day weekend. It is the Town of Longmeadow’s hope that this event, as well as future events, will help foster an age of awareness for not only for our veterans that are returning home, but also for our veterans that are already home who have helped to create resources and make events like this possible. The Wounded Warrior Project is just one many organizations that help support our nations veterans, and the Town of Longmeadow is proud to be a supporter of this organization. The Longmeadow Department of Veteran Services apologizes for any inconvenience that rescheduling may have caused to registered participants, vendors sponsors, and donators. Any registered participant that is unable to participate on the rescheduled date will receive a full refund upon request.
