J.B Joshua and his likes are Soothsayers or witch doctors, as some would call them. As Muslims, we know the source of their supernatural powers, including their ability to predict football matches and Boko Haram attacks. Allah informed us about this matter in Surah (chapter) Jinn in the Glorious Quran. There are also clear narrations from the Prophet of Islam (SAW) that forbid Muslims from visiting such people and believing in their prediction is disbelieve. It follows therefore that as Muslims we cannot watch stations like Emmanuel or watch their Youtube version for whatever reason. And we cannot share news reports on his (T.B. Joshua) predictions and we cannot even use his predictions as a argument against the Government, as somebody did a while ago. We must be mindful of our conducts on social media. We should take extra care not to unknowingly fall into errors. What we do on social media must at all times reflect our believes as Muslims.
