JAFFSON BLACK MAGIC OW Cex “ Flynn “ 23/ 11/2002 – 22/9/2014 Dunnslayne All Gold (Jaff) X Kelta Gypsy (Jessie) Breeders Lyn & Roy Goutte Owned & Adored by Michelle Dunscombe Flynn came into my life & he mended my broken heart. He was exactly what I wanted & exactly what I needed, & I know he felt the same about me. Big Handsome B&W boy with the kindest face in the world ,we made many friends together as we spread out wings in obedience, We travelled all over the UK, exploring new shows meeting new people & we loved every minute. He was my first dog to win out of Novice, My first dog to be C only, My first dog to go to Crufts & my first dog to Qualify for ticket. What a journey we had together & I loved every minute , every mile, every stride. His Career Highlight was runner up in the Crufts Obedience World Cup after a 3 way run off for first. We never won a ticket , but we had some places & was a good consistent C dog with many wins & places. He was a strong worker, very keen , sometimes I struggled to keep up. SAs were the best though! At 6months we found he had Hip Dysplacia , but we managed well, however , When he started struggling with the ASSD pickups I retired him from competition, However his most important role was yet to come,as my business took off, he became my “rehab” dog, helping shy dogs gain confidence, helping aggressive dogs learn how to make friends, & teaching naughty dogs to come back. Not only did he change my life , but changed 100s of dogs life for the better too. A year ago, he had a cough he couldnt shake, I feared he had Heart Disease. I took him to the vets thinking his future would consist of tablets & vets. The reality was worse he had a aggressive tumour growing on his heart & nothing could be done. No tablets could fix my boy, his gentle beautiful heart had this horrible thing on it & it was going to kill him. My big beautiful strong boy & I , had another wonderful year, he got weaker & much older , but was still as cheeky & naughty. In the last month he had lost all appetite & muscle had started to waste, we had some good days & some bad days. But sometimes when his heart started bearing so fast I could hear it & I could see the panic in his eyes. & sometimes he just looked so tired, I kept him with me as long as was humane, but in the end I had to let him go. We had a beautiful final day up at Sandwell Park. He had won a B & 2 Cs & his highest place in ticket on the venue , so I knew he liked it there. We spent the afternoon sitting by the C ring in the sunshine watching Sendaways, & saying hello (& goodbye) to some wonderful friends, & the next morning we took him to the vets . As he lay on the floor I sat beside him & looked into his eyes so he wouldnt see them shave his leg & inject him , & I held his head & looked at his beautiful face & into his wonderful eyes as he quickly slipped away, by beautiful big boy. I knew the moment he went, the vet said it was much quicker than she expected, so he was ready to go -i knew then , but he still would have stayed with me if I had asked- such a brave boy. I will miss you gorgeous Xx Find Nellie, Tara & Perdi , Thankyou for just being my Dog. Love Mum Xx
