JARVIS (Boy) Who are they? Jarviss are terribly enigmatic characters who seem to be just beyond the reach of human understanding. The least one could say about them is that they are different from most people, and indeed they are often misunderstood by those around them who tend to perceive them as being eccentric. They are actually extremely internalized and inclined to introversion and introspection. They are anxious and prone to worry, in search of answers to their metaphysical pondering and a solution for their uneasiness and anguish. Very emotional and hypersensitive, they hide behind a cold, distant and even cynical and sarcastic demeanor, which can be quite disconcerting for their loved ones to observe. When faced with emotions they often react with humor or derision because the world unsettles them and their first instinct is to protect themselves. Their personality only truly manifests itself upon reaching maturity, with the acquisition of a certain wisdom; and they could make real philosophers. But until then, shyness, solitude, inhibition, fear and withdrawal from the world will be part of their character. Despite their highly nervous disposition, they manage to control themselves to a certain extent. They tend to flee in the face of hostility because they are not necessarily well-armed for battle. If they are unable to find fulfillment through an intellectual or spiritual activity, they could feel maladjusted and take refuge in a fool´s paradise... As children, Jarviss are often uncommunicative, thoughtful, timorous and well-behaved. They require a calm, secure environment and are very attached to their family. Highly receptive and permeable to their immediate atmosphere, a happy, relaxed environment will energize them and encourage them to give the very best of themselves. What do they like? They enjoy learning and acquiring knowledge, the latest technology, science fiction and perhaps even the paranormal. Their intuitive abilities are well above average but they are wary of this faculty, preferring instead to rely on the sound and sensible qualities of their judgement because they are very analytically minded. They often have a sharp sense of humor and could even be rather cynical. In love, Jarviss are very mysterious and quite inexpressive where their emotions are concerned, but hopefully their partner will be good at telepathy, because they keep their sensitivity well hidden and complain of being misunderstood...! What do they do? Their chosen career could be quite unusual indeed; including the latest technical specializations or specialized professions (information technology, electronics, physicist...), occupations in connection with the paranormal or religion (dowser, astrology, psychology...), involving unusual working hours (night work, for example), activities linked to the public, advertising or marketing..., or associated with travel or the sea.
