JBER-Richardson will experience base wide electrical power outages on Friday, October 10, 2014 between the hours of 0900 to 1600. Power outages will only affect the Richardson portion of JBER. Power outages will affect the entirety of Richardson. Purpose of the power outage is to test the Richardson - emergency backup electrical power generation system. During the test on Friday, October 10, 2014, Richardson will experience multiple power outages throughout the day between 0900 and 1600 hours. It is anticipated that facilities should not be without power for more than one continuous hour. There are too many variables within the testing plan to say how long facility power will be restored before another outage is experienced.
