JE SUIS CHRISTIAN! I am NOT Charlie! Je suis Charlie is a French slogan meaning, I am Charlie. It symbolizes support for the French satirical news publication Charlie Hebdo which recently suffered an attack by Islamic terrorists who murdered twelve of its staff members in retaliation for its satire of Muhammad. Je suis Charlie has been adopted worldwide in solidarity for Charlie Hebdo and as a symbol for free speech and expression. Charlie Hebdo is well known as a very liberal and atheistic publication. So, of course the liberal and atheistic mainstream media and likewise many Hollywood celebrities have also joined hand in hand with Je suis Charlie. While their support and outcry for freedom of speech and expression and for the lives of the twelve murdered staffers seems noble, where is the support and outcry for the THOUSANDS of Nigerians who were recently murdered by the Islamic terrorist group Boco Haram?! What about the freedom of speech and expression for those poor Nigerian victims?! Furthermore, in recent years in many countries of Africa, there have been tens of thousands, pethaps millions of innocent Africans murdered by Islamic Terrorists. Many of these victims have been tortured, raped, kidnapped for slavery and ransom and are murdered because they will not convert to Islam. In fact, many of them profess to be christian. Therefore, as a christian shouldnt I especially care about my brethren around the world who do not have freedom of speech and expression, and are in fact being persecuted because of their witness and testimony of their faith in Christ? Of course, we are not amazed to hear there is little support and outcry for them in this satanic world! We who nameth the name of Christ should support and outcry for our fellow persecuted christian martyrs by saying, Je suis Nigerian christian...or Je suis Sudanese Christian...or Je suis Somalian Christian, or Je suis Ethiopian Christian...or Je suis Iranian Christian...or Je suis Pakistanian Christian, or Je suis Chinese Christian...or Je suis Indonesian Christian...or Je suis Filipino Christian, or Je suis Viet Namese Christian...or Je suis North Korean Christian...or etc, etc! Or what about just JE SUIS CHRISTIAN?! As christians THAT should be what we are identified with, and NOT a liberal ATHEISTIC news publication that is well known for mocking God, Christianity and the bible! I am NOT Charlie! I am NOT of this world. I am christian!
