JEDDAH: Saudi Arabians is going through 28th fast of the Holy month of Ramadan on Tuesday while several sources are expecting Eid ul Fitr’s moon sight on August 6 (today). Some authentic sources claimed that crescent volume was observed much decreased contrary to normal expectation hence if people sighted the moon today then Eid ul Fitr will be observed on Wednesday. One alternate fasting day will be suggested for Muslims across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) as compensation to complete a month’s for Ramadan fasting. It is mandatory to fast for at least 29 days during Ramadan. Same incident took place in past 30 years when moon sighting committee of the country announced Eid ul Fitr celebration after 28th day of the Holy month when people was having Sehaar diet for 29th fast. KSA moon sight committee and religious circles also suggested their citizens to offer one more fast after Eid ul Fitr festival for compensating missed fasting day of Ramadan..,#sajid
