Chairmans AIT Interview, here are some excerpts. **Results in all LGAs were elections were held has been compiled and sent to INEC Hqtrs- Jega **As soon as Idemili North results arrive, state collation will be done- Jega **The Returning Officer will announce the results the moment collation is concluded -Jega **My hope is that by this evening, results will be compiled and the Returning Officer will make announcements- Jega **The Accreditation in Obosi Ward was extended to 2pm so that people in church will be able to come out and vote- Jega 1. The Electoral Officer in charge of Idemili North for some inexplicable reason messed up the distribution of electoral materials - Jega 2. He held some results sheets and in turn distributed false result sheets- Jega 3. The Electoral Officer and LGA Supervisor in charge of Idemili North have been handed over to the police- Jega 4. We believe strongly that there was connivance between the EO and unknown agents to subvert the electoral process- Jega 5. We are serious about this matter and whoever is responsible will be apprehended and handed over for prosecution- Jega 6. We need to collectively pay attention to people responsible for financially inducing Electoral Officers- Jega 7. People did not utilize the opportunity to verify their registration as announced by INEC- Jega 8. Addendum Registers were not used for Anambra elections. By 2015, Addendum Registers will not be used all over the country- Jega 9. INEC should not be blamed for voters not utilizing the opportunity to verify their registration- Jega 10. The Electoral Act states that when a voter comes to the PU, you present your voters card to make sure your name is on the register- Jega 11. If your name does not reflect on the register, the Law says you cannot vote- Jega 12. If your name does not reflect on the register, the Law says you cannot vote- Jega 13. No political party communicated with INEC on the outcome of the inspection of the voters register given to them- Jega 14. If you want to vote, ensure your name is on the certified voters register- Jega 15. If you can prove that INEC is responsible for omitting your name, provide proof of the omission and the issue will be resolved- Jega 16. Collation of LGA results has to be done after the elections in Obosi Ward 7- Jega 17. You cannot collate Idemili North results because Obosi is outstanding- Jega 18. You cannot collate LGA results because Idemili North result is outstanding- Jega 19. We cannot collate State results because LGA results are outstanding- Jega 20. What remains is to finish Obosi, add it to the LGA results, then the State Collation Officer collates all the results- Jega 21. The Electoral Act did not say elections cannot hold on certain days, but out of consideration you have to address sensitivities- Jega 22. But you have to create a balance between the costs and benefits for the voters in that LGA- Jega 23. We consulted with the community and got a consensus to proceed with the elections today- Jega 24. Majority of accredited representatives of political parties agreed to move the elections to today- Jega 25. Community leaders, including a member of the House of Representatives agreed the elections be held today- Jega 26. Double registration is responsible for some peoples names getting omitted from the register- Jega 27. If a person registers in two locations, your name will be omitted from the register you did the second registration- Jega 28. Before the CVR, sensitization and publicity was done and registers were displayed in Polling Units for verification- Jega 29. It was also announced at the stakeholders meeting in Awka on Wednesday that there was an SMS system for verification of registration-Jega 30. You send your first and last name with the last 5 digits on your voters card, you get a msg back with your registration details and PU-Jega 31. There is still time for the voters in Obosi ward to go out and exercise their right to vote- Jega 32.
