JNB: Installation Technician Our client, a leader in the laundry and catering industry, is looking for a vibrant and dynamic Installation Technicians. The successful candidate will form the vital seamless link in the business chain between the office and the customer. You will be a representation of the company with our customer and your technical and personal skills are required to install our products with efficient precision and pride. Ensuring that you are a reliable source for the customer to effectively maintain his own business with precision. Minimum Requirements: Matric Electrical qualification obtained or in process will be a distinct advantage Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams Valid Code 8 Driver’s License Fluent in English – Read, Write & Speak Experience in installation of commercial / domestic appliances Willing & able to work extended hours to conclude your daily work tasks Willing & able to spend time away from home Experience in Quality Procedures Knowledge of various product machine parameters Knowledge of sales function Basic business sense Experience in the standards and procedures of housekeeping Knowledge on Health & Safety regulations Skills Required: Ability to handle pressurised situations tactfully and efficiently Ability to aptly deal with irate customers and to comfortably handle unfair actions of customer Assertive and able to manage conflict Strong planning & scheduling & controlling abilities Able to communicate across all levels efficiently Strong admin skills to ensure document control Interpersonal skills Understand the basic operational functionality of the business Understanding the significance and consequences of quality Honesty & integrity Safety awareness Value the role and contribution to team and company Quality and goal orientated Duties will include, but not be limited to: All work related business shall be professionally conducted with care and efficiency and will reflect the image of the company by neat apparel and a clean uniform Operate within a varying and demanding environment in the foreign domain of the customer Ensure customers are catered and courteously cared for with efficient response or actions to satisfy expectations Liaise with office team and other technical colleagues to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in the execution of your responsibilities Managing, planning & control of on site work Communication with customer Work planning and thorough execution Consulting of machine media manuals Administration & Quality CheckingTaking pictures of new installations for records • Ensuring acceptable levels of quality is maintained on all your work • Test run your machines with the customer • Ensure all paper administration is correct before leaving the customer Keeping a personal journal of all van stock Taking manuals to the job site to ensure efficient operations if you need reference material Ensure job cards are read and understood prior to leaving the office and completion of job cards each day to avoid backlogs General house keeping Meeting and exceeding of personal and team targets Should you wish to apply for this advert, please respond via this website and attach your cv.
