JOB ADVERT (URGENT): RESEARCHERS/CONSULTANTS - SOUTHERN AFRICAN HEALTH SECTOR MARKET NEEDS ANALYSIS : We are currently working on a proposal to conduct a health sector market needs and implementer landscape analysis of seven pre-selected Southern African countries where an in-depth analysis will be conducted in three countries (Lesotho, Swaziland and Zambia) and an overview analysis will be conducted in four countries (Malawi, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Mozambique). We are seeking consultants who have experience in data collection, analysis and write up for the respective countries of Lesotho, Zambia and Swaziland. This will include face to face interviews and require consultants/ a consultant in Lesotho, Zambia and Swaziland. There is also a need for researchers/consultants to assist in telephonic interviews in Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique. We require a consultant with good linkages in Malawi, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Mozambique and able to understand the language for telephonic interviews. QUALIFICATIONS : A Master’s or PhD degree in Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, Social Sciences or Epidemiology or Operational Research and any other relevant discipline is essential, with extensive experience in health services management, support and development, public health activities, health systems research, epidemiology, human resources management and/or health economics.
