JOB ALERT - ELITE TELECOM - Support/Installations Engineer - Full Time - Chorley/London Due to expansion we are recruiting a support/installations engineer at either of our Chorley or London offices. Elite Telecom is a leading UK based reseller of VoIP telephony /UC solutions. The Role As a Support/Installations Engineer you will provide our customers with remote and on-site support as well carrying out installations and upgrades of VoIP telephony systems. Our customers range in size from 10 users to several hundred users, and we primarily supply and support the Swyx and Mitel product ranges. Ideally applicants should have experience of one or other, or have the knowledge and experience of installing and supporting other VoIP phone systems. However, full training will be provided. Desired Skills The successful candidate will be someone that has supported a small to medium sized IT environment with a good understanding of networks. Some responsibility for supporting the communications infrastructure, including telephony will be useful. We would also be interested in meeting candidates from a VoIP reseller background. Professional telephone manner Good analytical and problem solving skills Demonstrateable networks and IP knowledge Understanding of typical Corporate IT infrastructure VoIP system support experience Experience or an understanding of SIP Good Windows 2003/2008 server experience Good Windows desktop/application experience We offer a good salary that is dependent on experience alongside company benefits; this role is open at either our London or Lancashire office dependent on the applicant’s location.
