Director, Sales – Oil & Gas Market The Director, Sales will have primary responsibility for new and existing U.S. sales revenue and operations including building, developing, and managing the sales team that represents our chemical manufacturing, distribution, and technical services capabilities in the Oil & Gas Market. Key Responsibilities · Development and execution of an annual Strategic Sales Plan. · Partner with the leadership team to identify and target strategic accounts. · Define and execute the strategies and tactics necessary to secure new business and accounts. · Capitalize on previous experience and contacts selling to energy companies, operators, and service providers in the market. · Obtain new accounts and maintain the business at existing accounts by executing world class sales processes. · Sell directly to customers in the Oil & Gas Market. · Establish customer relationships from the field office to the CEO. · Manage and achieve the Sales Forecast including updates as required. · Plan, organize, direct and control sales team to exceed corporate objectives. · Recruit, hire, train, coach, and mentor sales representatives to exceed the sales plan. · Conduct effective and efficient sales meetings · Embrace our corporate values and embody them in all actions and communications. Skills & Experience • B.S. in technical field (engineering, chemistry) preferred. • 5 plus years direct experience in the Oil & Gas Market. • 3 to 5 years of industrial sales experience and sales management experience required including supplier relationship management. • Proven track record in building, managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, successful and results-oriented sales force. • Comprehensive knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry and its suppliers including extensive relationships through the supply chain. • Comprehensive knowledge of various chemicals and fluid systems that are used in drilling, fracturing, and stimulation. • Project management skills and the ability to develop problem-solving solutions and strategies. • Strong interpersonal communication skills and team building experience. • Desire to be face to face with customers as you build relationships and develop business. • Demonstrated success working in cross functional teams.
