JOB ANNOUNCEMENT Health and Development Alliance is a local non-governmental organization, registered at Ministry of Interior April 03, 2006. HEAD works with the most vulnerable individuals, households and communities to identify and address through sustainable solutions the root causes of vulnerability and poverty. HEAD is seeking 1 qualified Cambodian national to work as a Project Officer to be based in Sre Ambel, Koh Kong province. The project officer is responsible and accountable for implementing the project activities as following; 1. Partnering with other team members to establish the village emergency referral system (VERS), to organize training for VHSG, HCMC, and commune council and health centre staff on HIV/AIDS, TB, and malaria as well as training on client rights and maternal and new-born care. To coordinate commune councils to facilitate quarterly VHSG meetings, HCMC meeting and villagers meeting. To organize health education to communities through movie show in each target villages and to implement the community scorecard in the target villages. 2. Monitoring: Frequent visit to health centres to ensure policies are being implemented at service delivery points. Collect data for relevant areas for monitoring and evaluation and reporting. Prepare quarterly report to respective supervisors. 3. Represent HEAD activities in the areas: Building relationships with the VHSGs, Commune council members, HCMC, HC, OD, NGOs and other partners. Qualifications Bachelor degree in health science, or bachler in other fields with at least 2 years’ experience in facilitating training, workshop and meeting, flexible, open minded, and sensitive to the needs of a project team and computer literacy, word, Excel, PowerPoint and email and female are encouraged and salary $355 per month.
