JOB ANNOUNCEMENT INTERNAL & EXTERNAL POSTING PROYECTO INMIGRANTE ICS, INC Immigration Counseling Services Department JOB TITLE: Assistant to the Outreach Department – Temporary Position, Monday to Saturday and some Sundays REPORTS TO: Andy Beltran or M. Elda Rodriguez JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant to the Outreach Coordinator will majority (99%) of he/her time to assist the Outreach Coordinator with outreach, data entry, workshops, churches, schools, organizations, public institutions, libraries, and volunteer recruitment. Specifically, this position assists the Program Coordinators in performing outreach to identify Latinos and other minorities as LPRs in the Dallas Fort Worth and Texoma area to promote applications for citizenship and immigration legal services provided by Proyecto Inmigrante ICS, Inc. The position requires a High School Diploma and a one year of related experience is preferred. Also required is the ability to fluently speak, read, and write Spanish and English and be able to speak in front of a large crowed. Additional requirements include good interpersonal skills and communications abilities and the ability to use general computer applications for word processing and data entry, email, as well as internet research among others. Driving is required for this position, so successful applicants must have a valid drivers license, a clean driving record, vehicle liability insurance and a reliable vehicle that he/she is able to use. The applicant must be able to work some Sundays.
