JOB Advert - Analyst: Information Reporting (BiB) Please note to email applications to directly to recruitment@mtn-southsudan Applications are invited for the post of Analyst: Information Reporting (BiB) Department : Information Systems Reports to : Chief Information Systems Officer Closing date : 28 September 2013 Location : MTN South Sudan Head Office MISSION/CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB The mission is to monitor the stability / accuracy of the relevant information environment of MTN South Sudan IT functions and provide short and medium term support, administration and reporting tasks to BiB application. RESPONSIBILITIES • Monitor Information symposium of BiB and related data integrity • Administer Information dimensioning and relational integrity with charging systems, customer management and ERP • Monitor stability, connectivity and performance of the Information access interfaces environment and related storage capacity • Responsible of the version upgrade deployment of BiB software layers; informatica, OBIEE, Apex and so on. • Responsible to apply set of procedures to verify and monitor on daily basis the information integrity such as CDRs, EDRs, GL Billing and so on. • Sustain change management process with proper documentation and library history booklet of all the changes, even for small reports • Responsible of OBIEE manipulation and provides training to end users to manage their reports and statistics as needed • To gain operation excellency, sustain internal and cross-functional processes with related procedures and policies • Responsible to contribute in developing a bouquet of reports to satisfy the commercial analysis requirement (i.e. churn analysis, Sales acquisition analysis, customer segmentation) and so on. • Responsible of creating and applying a safe mechanism of information access security and information access privilege. • Responsible to develop and extract information as requested through the OBIEE, help users/customers clarifying the misinterpreted figures • Contributes in the support of customers complaints resolution based on agreed SLA; may share managing of CSRs and sustaining close follow up on complaint with the 2nd line support • Maintain administrative tasks related to new software releases; sustain proper user-manual documentation adaptable to the change. • Monitor license capacity, CAP/BHCA system capacity and related expansion management, HW/SW platform upgrades. • Contributes in the integration of the charging platform with core network nodes, the BSS and OSS platforms and information stream platforms (i.e. VAS platforms, CRM, Billing). • Deal with BiB projects new system integration, information expansion and modifications required. • Familiar with Mediation and CDR conversion, file management and upload with firm and accurate daily check procedure. • Have knowledge and proper understanding of commercial terminologies: ARPU, ERM, CVS, Marginal ARPU, RGS …… and capable to accommodate commercial proper understanding of requests into demanded reports. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE Education: • BSc in computing engineering / computer science Experience: • 5 years’ experience in database administration and support; project management experience advantageous TRAINING • Business value chain • Technical awareness about MSC and OCS CDR fields and parameters context and meaning • Administration and Operation BiB, Informatica and OBIEE • BiB structure, information flow • Change management and incident management • Telecom systems integrity architecture and designs KNOWLEDGE • ITIL standards • Problem solving • Project communication planning and management • Project management • Financial acumen • Reporting • Service level agreement management • Technical knowledge of software services Preference will be given to South Sudanese nationals.
