JOB OPENING: NEMCSA is seeking applications to fill a Financial Coach position. This position will be responsible for providing low to moderate low income eligible individuals and families with financial advice/coaching that will contribute to their financial repair and stability, work toward asset building capability, and credit repair resulting in individual and family self-sufficiency. Some weekend and evening meetings as well as occasional job related travel both within the 11 county service area and to other locations both in state and out of state for meetings, workshops, trainings and/or conferences may be necessary. This position is a 32 hour per week position and will offer medical, prescription and vision benefits. The successful candidate will be required to participate in and pass specific financial literacy courses as well as mentor for a period of at least 6 months to obtain the necessary certification requirements to provide individual counseling. Education requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or related field with at least 2 years’ experience in personal financial education, homebuyer education, foreclosure intervention counseling or related work.
