JOB OPENINGS AVAILABLE: PROGRAM AIDE The Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Clubs is hiring Program Aides for our After School Programs at: • Circleville Elementary School • Pine Bush Elementary School • Circleville Middle School • Crispell Middle School Our Elementary School Programs operate during the school year from 3:00-6:00pm, Monday through Friday. The Middle School Programs operate during the school year from 2:00-6:00pm, Monday through Friday. Participate in implementation of assigned activities in such specific program areas as Education, Special Education, Social Recreation, Arts & Crafts, and Physical Education; Supervise and assist members participating in programs/activities to ensure their safety and enjoyment; Work to maximize impact of programs/activities to help build members’ developmental assets. Ideal candidates will possess a High School Diploma and have experience working with youth or working in a youth development program. Key Knowledge, skills and abilities: • Ability to deal with a diverse population of youth • Ability to establish positive relationships with youth • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • CPR and First-Aid certified. • Understanding of the Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Club, Inc., its mission and its goals. Pay: This position is a part-time hourly position. Pay is commensurate with experience.
